7 Days Trekking Pass The Tiger Leaping Gorge

Description Day by day itinerary
We will trekking pass 23 kilometer-long gorge. one of the deepest and most dangerous gorge in the world. The turbulent, roaring river rushes through its 60 to 80 meters width . At one point it is a mere 30 meters Tiger Leaping Gorge. The breathtaking beauty of the gorge has attracted thousands of backpackers both Chinese and foreign. Winding along the gorge is one of the most famous trekking trails in the world.
 Day01Lijiang,Yangtse River,qiaoTou,Naxi Family,Tea Horse Guesthouse
After breakfast, drive about 1.5 hours from Lijiang to Qiaotou, which mean heads of the bridge, where your trek starts. 
The trail rises alternating between mountains and cultivated farmland. After 2.5 hours arrive in Naxi Family Guesthouse for lunch. 
After lunch, it is the most challenging part of the trek as the trail rises steeply with “28 bends” to the top of the ride. From here on, you hike high up the valley along the gorge with the gushing river deep below. The view of the gorge and the Jade Dragon Mountain and the Haba snow mountain are stupendous from here on. 
Arrive at Tea Horse Guesthouse, your accommodation for the night. This family-run guesthouse offers double clean rooms with attached shower and toilet.

Continue along the gorge enjoying more beautiful scenery for another 2 hours until Half-way Guesthouse. From here, start a leisurely descent through lovely cultivation and villages for 2 hours to Tina's Guesthouse, where you will have lunch. After lunch, it is another 4hours walk through the bottom of the gorge to arrivel the Sean's Guesthouse at  Walnut Grove, where we will spend the night.

Day03Walnut Garden,Lower Gorge,Naxi Villages,Guluba
The Haba Snow Mountain (5396m) stands by the Jinsha River, 120km southeast of Shangri-la. This area is famous for its views of the towering peaks of the Haba Mountain range with its alpine moraine lakes, azalea flowers and waterfalls cascading down snow-covered cliffs. The glacier on the Haba Snow Mountain is the southern-most glacier in China. 
Haba Village (2800m) is a little town beneath the Haba Snow Mountain. The local minorities that inhabit the town include Naxi, Hui (Muslim) and Yi peoples, as well as some Tibetans. Opportunities abound for hiking in the surrounding forest and mountains

Day04Haba Village,Baishuitai,Shangrila
This morning, hike though pine tree grove and several Naxi villages. The route starts with a steep ascent before it evens out into largely flat terrain. After hiking for about 4-5 hrs, reach the road where you meet your vehicle. Drive about 3-4hrs to Shangri-la and enroute, visit Baishuitai (White Water Terrace), a limestone deposit terrace set amidst beautiful scenery. 
On arrival in Shangri-la, check-in to the Banyan Tree Ringha Resort.

Day05Ringha Monastery,Shuoduogang River,Tibetan Villages
Today, we embark on a 4-5 hike to explore the area around Ringha. We start with a visit to the Ringha Monastery, a small working monastery atop a hill serving the villagers in the area. Walk around the Monastery to enjoy the colorful prayer flags, aged painted scrolls, frescos and statues. Then, hike along the Shuoduogang River to experience the peace and tranquility of Shangri-la. En route we will enjoy a simple lunch including buttered tea, local dessert, fruits and bread in a Tibetan family. After lunch walk back to Ringha Resort

Day06Songzanlin Monastery, Napa Lake,Old Town
Visit the bigest monastery of Yunnan-Gadan Songzanlin Monastery in the morning and visit NapaLake(also known as Npa grassland which a seasonal lake) and the old town where the old Tea-horse traded market

Send to the airpot after brakfast and trip ends
